Shopping. It’s not just an errand anymore. It’s an experience, a favored form of entertainment for all ages. Tots and tykes build (and buy) custom stuffed animals. Teeny boppers play (and buy) in glitter-encrusted dress up stores. Women craft (and buy) scrapbooks and clay pots and personalized Christmas cards. Golfers swing (and buy) the latest clubs in high-tech computer animated stalls at the sports store... We are a culture completely oblivious to the rule of “don’t touch anything.”

The Graphic T: A Fashion Retrospective
Why do we love graphic T’s so much, anyway? At what point did we all suddenly wake up with mass hostility against plain white cotton?
Well, my friend, like so much that is cool about this world, the original graphic t-shirt frenzy began way back when in the 1960s. (If you’re too young to remember, give this brochure back to your parents.) Rebellious and burning with political outrage, young activists took their anger out on the white cotton t-shirt and created: The Tie-Dye.
Quickly following the advent of the tie-dye came the silk-screened band t-shirts, which were loyally worn by throngs of adoring fans. And not to be outdone, corporate America jumped into the game and threw their slogans on t-shirts far and wide.
But the rebel spirit of American youth seized the power of the graphic T once more and gave us the clever phrase, the rude illustration and the cartoon character to emblaze across our collective chest. As the sensation spread across the globe, people took to their own naked white T’s with iron-on transfers, patches, beads and whatever else they could get their hands on.
Until, finally, one company stepped up to the plate and bravely equipped us with the most technologically sophisticated, state-of-the-art printing processes available. And The T-Shirt Diner was born.
